600D Draper Dual-Drive Cutting Parts

The 600D drapers with an overlapping, dual-drive cutting system require unique cutting parts to service the center overlapping region where the left and right-hand knife segments cross. Two single knife guards will also be required on the head end of each knife segment. Please pay close attention to this information so that you are aware of the parts to carry.

Upper left-hand overlapping knife segment with overturned countersunk knife sections

AH226928 – Center Section Top Hold-Down/ Guard

Acts as knife guard and hold down for upper portion of center overlapping region. Overturned knife sections on the end of upper left-hand knife segment (see image above) cut against the AH226928 ledger surface. Painted black for standard wear. Each platform uses (2) pieces on the top portion of overlapping region. Package qty. (1).

H232031 (no longer available, order HXE19623) – Center Section Bottom Knife Guard

Knife guard positioned underneath AH226928 and acts as ledger surface for the lower right-hand knife segment. Was base equipment on MY2009 platforms but replaced by HXE18172 and HXE19623 on MY2010 dual-drive drapers. Painted green for high-wear.  Each platform uses (2) guards placed directly next to each other. Package qty. (1)

HXE18172 – Center Section Bottom LH Knife Guard

Knife guard positioned underneath AH226928 on bottom left side and acts as ledger surface for the lower right-hand knife segment. Introduced as base equipment on MY2010 dual-drive drapers, replacing H232031. Far right outer point has a raised filled surface or block that helps prevent plugging and assists with ejecting trash out of the overlapping region. Painted green for high-wear.  Each platform uses (1) guard. Package qty. (1)

HXE19623 – Center Section Bottom RH Knife Guard

Knife guard positioned underneath AH226928 on bottom right side and acts as ledger surface for the lower right-hand knife segment. Introduced as base equipment on MY2010 dual-drive drapers, replacing H232031. Elongated points allow for crop lifters to be attached in center region. Knife guard is designed to prevent plugging in overlapping region. Painted green for high-wear.  Each platform uses (1) guard. Package qty. (1)

H228526 – Single Point End Guard

One single point knife guard used at the head end of each knife segment. Painted black for standard wear. Each platform uses (2) end guards, one on each end. Package qty. (1)

H226351 – Countersunk knife sections

H228135 – Countersunk bolts

The end of the lower right-hand segment utilizes (3) H226351 countersunk sections. The end of the upper left-hand segment utilizes (2) overturned countersunk sections. These special sections are used in the center overlap of the cutting system and work with the H228135 countersunk bolts. The sections require a smooth, flush surface due to the overlapping knife segments. Regular 4-inch knife sections and hardware will not work in this overlapping area. (10) H228135 bolts are required to install all countersunk sections. (2) more H228135 bolts are needed to install the skid plate shown below.

H225923 – Skid Plate

One skid plate is used on the end of the upper left-hand segment. Skid plate helps ensure alignment. Package qty. (1)

AH226494 – Overlapping Knife Segment for 600D dual-drive

Can be ordered to replace top overlapping knife section with special arch. Includes (6) nuts, (1) skid plate, (1) arched strap, (2) countersunk knife sections and (4) countersunk bolts.
