Finger for finger pick-up

Over the years, the number of grades of seed corn has reduced, thus increasing the amount of variance in the size of the seed in a bag of seed corn.  Due to this, customers require more flexible seed meters to allow them to plant the genetics they desire.  

In an ongoing effort to provide the most efficient and flexible finger pick-up meter in the industry, we have redesigned the John Deere pick-up fingers. 

Features of finger

·        The stem of the flag is shortened approximately 4 mm between the arm of the finger and the curvature in the flag. This change is to reduce the probability of the finger grabbing two seeds at one time.

·        Added ridges to the semi-circle portion of the flag where the seed seats. Giving the finger the ability to handle a wider variety of seed sizes and shapes.

·        The finger will fit in the old finger assemblies and can be ordered individually.
